The National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced by Govt. of India in 1969-70 in selected universities all over the country.This scheme has worked out many miracles. Great Involvement is now been laid on the participation of the student in constructive and development Programme, Particularly in the rural area.

The general objective of the scheme are
(i) Service to the community even while under going studies in educational institution
(ii) around the social conscience of the students
(iii) to provide them an Opportunity to work with the people around the educational campuses.
